My Diary – August 2009

Sunday 30th August 2009

Sorry for the lack of updates, it’s been pretty hectic and stressful recently… I will update properly next week with my news, but I just wanted to give you your last chance to come to my chocolate ball on the 12th September at the Pavilion in Broadstairs, Kent.

It starts at 7pm until 12.30 – 1am.  There will be a drinks reception, a 3 course meal, 2 chocolate fountains, a live band, a DJ, 2 fab dance groups, including Flava, who made the semi-finals of last year’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, plus 2 auctions where you will have the chance to bid for original pieces of artwork by some of Hodder Children’s Books best illustrators, a dress donated by Holly Willoughby with a signed photo of her wearing it and a copy of Ok! magazine which she wore the dress to be photographed for, a chocolate tasting experience and a pair of custom made Jimmy Choos!!  You can also win great prizes in the ‘tree of wishes’, watch a special DVD, eat pink chocolate plus more!  It really will be a great night.  Lots of pink, lots of chocolate, lots of sparkle, lots of music, lots of fun!

Tickets are £50 each, or £500 for a table of 10, and there are just a small number left, so if you’d like to come along, please email me.  You’ll be supporting such a worthwhile cause and helping young people fight cancer.

Thanks.

Love Nicole xxx

Tuesday 4th August 2009

Hi everyone, just a quick reminder of a couple of events happening this week in aid of Nicole’s fund which you might be interested in getting involved with.  On Thursday there’s a concert of easy listening music with Matthew Lombart at Seasalter Christian Centre from 7pm. This will be attended by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Canterbury.  Entry is free with a collection for my fund during the concert.  To reserve a seat, please email me.

On Saturday there will be a postcard auction at Margate Harbour Arm, from 4pm. There are 100 postcards, and they’ve all been specially designed by artists and celebrities such as Tracy Emin.  All money raised from the auction will go to Nicole’s fund. You can see the artwork and bid for a piece by visiting:  Art auction for Nicole's Fund.

You can bid every day this week between 12 and 3pm, or if you’re able to, please come down to the Gallery at Margate Harbour Arm on Saturday.  Details can be found on:  www.margateharbourarm.co.uk

Hope to see some of you there!
