Ive Just finished reading your book (in just under two hours) and it's fab! i can relate to you in the splint area. i was born with telepease on my right foot, had plaster until i was four, then splints until i was around about 7ish. i had too wear them in bed but as soon as my parents went too bed i would secretly take them off, leaving purple marks where the straps had cut into my foot. lovely. you are definitely my role model (partly due too the fact that me and my dad are the only ones left in the family too get cancer!!) i wish you the best for the future.
